LEDBURY’S GOT TALENT SHINES BRIGHT AT SECOND ANNUAL EVENT

The Mayor of Ledbury, Councillor Stephen Chowns, in collaboration with John Masefield High School, hosted the highly anticipated second edition of Ledbury’s Got Talent on Friday, 28 February 2025.

Eleven talented acts took to the stage, having successfully made it through the audition process, and delivered an unforgettable evening of entertainment for all in attendance.

Taking the top prize was the electrifying John Masefield High School Rock Band, whose performance captivated both the judges and audience alike. Martha Hill secured second place with a stunning act, while Barnaby Duke claimed third. A special commendation was also awarded to Jacob Hooper for his outstanding contribution to the night.

The event was not only a celebration of local talent but also served a meaningful purpose, raising over £2,000 in support of the Mayor’s chosen charities: Ledbury Refugee Support and the Alzheimer’s Society.

Mayor Stephen Chowns expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the event’s sponsors—Eastnor Castle, Jaga UK, The Uncommon Touch, Sequani, and Club Sports—as well as the many generous local businesses that donated raffle prizes. He also extended a special thanks to John Masefield High School for their invaluable support in making the evening such a resounding success.
