Welcome to England’s largest heritage festival!

Heritage Open Days will be taking place between the 6th-15th September, at thousands of places across the country. Join 46,400 visitors in celebrating local places and stories and explore the multitude of familiar and hidden places on your doorstep, completely free of charge.

Discover the town's history as you explore its picturesque streets. Admire the unusual 17th-century Market House perched on stilts and uncover Tudor secrets at the beautifully restored Masters House. Wander along the cobbled Church Lane to visit the 16th-century Painted Room, the Heritage Centre, and the Butcher Row House Museum. Finish your tour at St Michael’s and All Angels Church, home to a painting thought to be from Titian’s school. Surrounding the town, you'll find tranquil woods ideal for walking, with the Malvern Hills and Marcle Ridge nearby for more adventurous hikes.
