"Councillors and staff at Ledbury Town Council are deeply saddened at the news of the death of His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
Our thoughts are with the Royal Family at this time."

“I am sure all in Ledbury will mourn the passing of Prince Philip and will wish to send their sincerest condolences to Her Majesty The Queen and all the royal family.
Prince Philip devoted his life to the service of this country and to supporting The Queen, and we have all benefited from his leadership, commitment and hard work in so many areas of national life.”

Tribute to His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
The Town Clerk and Mayor of Ledbury have laid a wreath on the steps of St Michael and all Angels Church, to pay tribute to His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

Extraordinary Meeting of Full Council - Cancelled
Following the announcement of the passing of the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, the Council have made the decision to cancel the Extraordinary meeting of Full Council on Thursday, 15 April 2021 for the national mourning.
The meeting will be rescheduled for Thursday, 22nd April 2021 and updates can be found on the Ledbury Town Council website.
Thoughts are with the Royal Family at this time.
Statement on behalf of Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant, Edward Harley OBE
The Royal Family have the safety and wellbeing of the public in mind during these challenging times. The Family therefore ask that anyone wishing to express their condolences following the death of His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh does so in the safest way possible.
In accordance with public health advice, members of the public are asked to continue to follow the current Government coronavirus guidelines, particularly on avoiding meeting in large groups to keep themselves and others safe.

Members of the public may wish to consider making a donation to a charity of their choice, or one of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Patronages in memory of His Royal Highness, instead of leaving floral tributes https://www.royal.uk/floral-tributes
