MAYORS MILE CHARITY FUNDRAISER - PRESS RELEASE
Ledbury Steps Up for the Mayor’s Mile – Raising Over £500
Ledbury was full of energy and community spirit on Sunday, 13 April, as residents of all ages laced up their trainers for the annual Mayor’s Mile event, held in partnership with Ledbury Town FC.
Participants took on the challenge of a 1-mile, 3-mile, or 6-mile course through the town, enjoying the glorious sunshine and fantastic atmosphere. This year saw an impressive turnout, with 90 enthusiastic walkers and runners embracing the event.
Congratulations to our winners:
🏅 1-Mile Route:

A huge round of applause to everyone who took part and pushed themselves to the finish line!
Ledbury Town Council is delighted to announce that this year’s Mayor’s Mile raised over £500, which will be split between the Mayor’s two chosen charities—Ledbury Refugee Support and Alzheimer’s Society—as well as Ledbury Town FC.
Special thanks go to Steve Onions from Ledbury Town FC for his dedication in helping to organise the event, and to the Ledbury Harriers Running Club for their continued support.
We’re incredibly proud of our community for coming together to support such meaningful causes while celebrating health, wellbeing, and town spirit.
