Concert 5th December 2026 5.30pm to 7.30pm
Ledbury Heritage Centre, Church Lane, Ledbury.
We are delighted to be hosting a concert for Alf Steward, local cellist and young talent
Alf was until recently the Leader of the Hereford Youth Orchestra and member of the National Youth Folk Ensemble. He is now studying at the Royal Northern College of Music, which is rated as amongst the top 5 music schools in the world and globally amongst the top 10 for the performing arts.
Alf will be playing a range of pieces from classical to folk music. He will showcase the versatility of the cello – you might be surprised at the style and range of music this instrument can produce. We hope that by the end of the evening you will share his love for the cello, if you don’t already!
We are grateful to the Ray Williams Foundation, who is sponsoring the event: https://www.raywilliamsfoundation.co.uk
Tickets £10 (Full time students £7)
